The upcoming Norton Atlas GT motorcycle, owned by TVS Motor Company, has reportedly been spotted undergoing road testing in India, sparking speculation about a possible launch in the premium motorcycle segment. The test mule was seen without heavy camouflage, revealing several design and feature details.
As per media reports, the motorcycle appears to feature a modern touring-oriented design with LED lighting, DRLs, a tall windscreen, USD golden front forks, and 17-inch wheels. It is also expected to get advanced features such as a large digital instrument cluster, cruise control, traction and wheelie control, hill assist, and push-button start, indicating a strong focus on technology and rider comfort.
Under the hood, the Norton Atlas GT is likely to be powered by a 585cc engine capable of producing around 70 bhp, paired with a six-speed gearbox and assist and slipper clutch. The bike is expected to target the premium mid-capacity segment if introduced.
Although testing in India suggests potential market evaluation, reports indicate that an official launch in the country is still uncertain. The manufacturer has not made any formal announcement regarding its India launch timeline or pricing as of now.
